One of the most popular is the Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha), which is located within the Grand Palace grounds. It houses the 66cm tall Emerald Buddha that was carved from a single block of stone. While you are here, explore the Grand Palace and marvel at its exquisite architecture. Next, you should visit the Temple of the Reclining Buddha, the Wat Pho. The 43-metre long Buddha is covered in thick layers of gold leaf. You can get a traditional Thai massage from the students at the Thai massage school here. The stunningly beautiful Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn) should also be included in your itinerary.
